Douglas Martínez con golazo da triunfo al Sacramento FC

El delantero hondureño Douglas Martínez fue pieza clave de su equipo Sacramento Republic al anotar el gol del triunfo ante el San Antonio, en partido de la fecha 15 de la United Soccer League (USL).

Al minuto 38, Martínez, aprovechó un centro por la izquierda del español Keko Gontán para conectar de cabeza y vencer al portero Jordan Farr, en juego celebrado en el estadio Health Park de Sacramento, California.

Douglas Martínez, salió de titular y fue sustituido en los minutos finales. Con su anotación el catracho llegó a tres goles en la temporada.

El gol del hondureño nacido en Olanchito, significó un festejo adelantado de su cumpleaños 25, que es este 5 de junio.

Con la victoria el Sacramento Republic, es sexto de su conferencia con 19 puntos.

Martínez y Sacramento, volverán a la acción el sábado 11 que visiten al Detroit City. (HN)
