Carlos Sainz correrá el Dakar-2025 con Ford

El veterano piloto español Carlos Sainz, que en 2024 al volante de un Audi ganó su cuarto rally Dakar, participará en la mítica prueba en 2025 al volante de un Ford, anunció el viernes la escudería.

«Hemos puesto el punto de mira en conquistar el último desafío todoterreno, uniendo nuestras fuerzas a las de Sainz», escribe Ford Performance en su cuenta X.

Sainz, de 62 años, ha ganado cada uno de sus cuatro Dakar con una marca diferente: en 2010 con Volkswagen, en 2018 con Peugeot, en 2020 con Mini y en 2024 con Audi, convirtiéndose en el vencedor de mayor edad de la prueba.

Su compatriota Nani Roma, de 52 años, vencedor del Dakar en moto (2004) y en coches (2014) será otro piloto de Ford para 2025. (AFP)
